Deck overview

Dain of the Ancient Halls leads an aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal deck that rapidly fills the board with Dwarf creatures and legendary permanents. The primary game plan revolves around curving out low-cost Dwarves to establish an enduring story, enabling powerful storied triggers before deploying the commander. Because Dain possesses haste and vigilance, he immediately threatens opponents on turn five by dealing direct burn damage to each opponent scaled to your total Dwarf count. The deck closes games through explosive damage multipliers such as Shared Animosity and Fiery Emancipation, or by doubling Dain triggers with Bifur, Melodic Rider.
