Deck overview

This deck develops mana and cost reduction, then uses Lathliss, Dragon Queen to turn each nontoken Dragon into an additional 5/5 flying Dragon. Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, Warstorm Surge, and Sarkhan's Unsealing convert those creatures into direct damage, while Utvara Hellkite and extra-combat Dragons increase the combat threat. The plan is powerful when several pieces remain in play, but it is expensive and usually needs about ten turns to assemble a usable engine. Tutors such as Sarkhan's Triumph and Orb of Dragonkind improve access to Dragons, not to every required enchantment and protection card. The deck has reasonable creature and artifact removal, but almost no stack interaction and little protection for its core permanents. It can generate strong board states and occasional explosive turns, yet it lacks a compact, reliable route to eliminate all three opponents.
