Format: Commander

Commander: Mogis, God of Slaughter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mogis, God of Slaughter is a Rakdos attrition engine that punishes every upkeep and forces the table to lose life or feed the sacrifice clock. The deck supports him with a dense package of symmetrical direct damage, discard, and noncombat-damage multipliers; its primary path is to grind life totals down and then finish with a doubled Heartless Hidetsugu or a critical mass of boosted burn. The commander is the centerpiece, but the deck can still function if he is answered, using Tor Wauki the Younger, damage doublers, and recurring pings. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Mogis's upkeep trigger rather than either face of Aclazotz.
