Another Theft Deck by Rex_General

Format: Commander

Commander: Gonti, Canny Acquisitor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gonti, Canny Acquisitor leads a Sultai theft-and-value deck built around the commander's two reliability abilities: the {1} discount on spells you don't own and the combat trigger that exiles each opponent's top card. The plan is to attack with evasive and incremental creatures, stockpile exiled cards, then cast them cheaply to out-tempo the table. Secondary paths include Scurry of Squirrels' double myriad for spread damage and Gonti triggers, Notion Thief plus Windfall for explosive draws, and a fragile Hullbreaker Horror/Sol Ring infinite-mana loop without a reliable outlet. There is no single hidden commander; the Gonti-name variants and other theft creatures collectively act as the engine. The deck is grindy and interaction-rich but lacks a compact finisher.
