Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Gruul Dragons stompy list helmed by Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient. The primary game plan accelerates mana through efficient ramp spells, cost-reducers, and treasure generation to cast Klauth on turn 5. Klauth's innate haste allows an immediate attack, converting total attacking power into a massive pool of mana that does not empty across phases. This mana is instantly reinvested in the post-combat main phase to deploy massive flying threats like Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Terror of Mount Velus, or to chain extra combat steps via Relentless Assault. The deck also features a compact infinite combat loop using Aggravated Assault and Savage Ventmaw. While it excels at explosive bursts of mana, high damage output, and resilient backup beatdown plans, it remains soft to instant-speed spot removal due to a light protective interaction suite.
