Auntie Ool, Cursewretch by user2712103

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Auntie Ool is the value engine of a -1/-1-counter deck: every counter on a creature you control draws a card, and every counter on an opponent's creature costs them life. Her ward-blight also taxes removal by forcing opponents to put counters on their own creatures. The primary plan is to assemble an infinite death loop-Hapatra/Blowfly Infestation/Flourishing Defenses or Devoted Druid/Mikaeus-and convert each death into life loss with Grave Venerations. The backup path is wither/infect combat, led by Phyrexian Hydra, Corrosive Mentor, and Triumph of the Hordes, with the commander providing reach and card advantage throughout.
