Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai graveyard midrange strategy helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The game plan revolves around rapidly filling the graveyard through incremental self-mill, using Teval's attack trigger to generate ramp and board presence, and converting yard velocity into game-winning power. It leverages classic Golgari and Sultai synergies, utilizing Life from the Loam and Conduit of Worlds to sustain mana flow while assembling threats like Consuming Aberration and Lord of Extinction. The deck's primary route to victory is resolving a high-impact Living Death or using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to drain the entire table. While the deck boasts immense grinding power and resilient graveyard redundancy, it lacks proactive stack interaction and dedicated defensive shielding, leaving it vulnerable to well-timed graveyard hate and board sweepers.
