Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggressive tribal deck centered around Dwarves, Equipment, and the Storied mechanic led by Thorin Oakenshield. The primary game plan curves out low-cost Dwarf creatures and artifact equipment during the opening turns to rapidly achieve an enduring story. Once Storied is established, the commander provides global ward protection while enablers like Kíli the Resourceful and Dáin Ironfoot convert board presence into card draw and double strike combat pressure. The deck closes games around Turns 6 through 8 by casting high-impact anthem creatures such as Thorin, King of Durin's Folk alongside burst pumps like War Flare and Charge the Sanctum. While it possesses respectable creature removal and defensive combat tricks like Settle the Wreckage, the deck relies heavily on natural draws and remains susceptible to heavy board sweepers.
