Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Killian, Decisive Mentor to combine aggressive Aura Voltron attacks with tactical combat control. By casting low-cost Auras onto Killian or backup threats like Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice and Kor Spiritdancer, the deck generates steady card advantage whenever enchanted creatures attack. Simultaneously, every enchantment entering the battlefield triggers Killian to tap and goad an opposing creature, neutralizing potential blockers and forcing opponents to attack each other. Pillowfort elements such as Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple make attacking you costly or impossible. The deck protects its primary attacker using ward, indestructible, umbra armor, and protection Auras like Sheltered by Ghosts and Flickering Ward. Mass recursion cards including Mantle of the Ancients, Retether, and Eiganjo Dynastorian // Replenish provide outstanding resilience against board wipes, allowing you to rapidly rebuild a lethal board and finish the table across consecutive combat turns.
