Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Vivi on Turn 3 and enchanting it on Turn 4 with damage-triggered draw effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cheap cantrip draws 3 cards and adds mana via Vivi's activated ability. This self-sustaining loop rapidly burns the table to zero in a single turn. Backup lines leverage Archmage Emeritus, Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and an infinite mana combo between Quicksilver Elemental and Vivi. A low-curve interaction suite featuring Mana Drain, Swan Song, and Hexing Squelcher ensures that your storm turn remains protected against opposing disruption.
