Kykar, Wind’s Fury (Combo/Control)[B5/9.7]

Format: Commander

Commander: Kykar, Wind's Fury

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai spellslinger-combo deck helmed by Kykar, Wind's Fury. The core loop is simple: every noncreature spell you cast creates a 1/1 Spirit token, and sacrificing those Spirits for red mana lets you chain more spells. The deck's primary wins are compact infinite-mana combos - Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal, Hullbreaker Horror + Mana Vault/Sol Ring, and Underworld Breach + Reiterate + Seething Song - which then feed a finisher like Comet Storm, Crackle with Power, Aetherflux Reservoir, Laboratory Maniac, or Psychic Corrosion. A hybrid Approach of the Second Sun line and a Vivi Ornitier drain provide alternate routes. The deck is fast, low to the ground, and packed with instant-speed interaction, making it a high-power combo deck that can win out of nowhere.
