Lotho v3.2 by user2761585

Format: Commander

Commander: Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov (WB) deck helmed by Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff is a lifegain/drain reanimator with a heavy Angel tribal subtheme. The plan is to fill the graveyard, reanimate large Angels like Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Serra's Emissary, then leverage lifegain triggers from Soul Warden, Auriok Champion, and Righteous Valkyrie to pump the team with Archangel of Thune and Nykthos Paragon while draining opponents with Enduring Tenacity and Tenured Inkcaster. Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn provides convoke for creature spells and its back side Isilu, Carrier of Twilight grants persist to nontoken creatures, enabling resilient board states. Shilgengar, Sire of Famine offers a mass reanimation outlet, and Living Death acts as a wipe-recovery finisher. The commander, Lotho, functions as a secondary mana engine, generating Treasure tokens when opponents cast their second spell each turn, but the deck does not rely on him.
