Format: Commander

Commander: Thelon of Havenwood

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thelon of Havenwood commands a classic Fungus and Saproling tribal strategy that converts slow spore buildup into overwhelming board presence. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Thallids, accelerating their spore accumulation with Sporesower Thallid and Sporoloth Ancient, and utilizing Thelon to turn those counters into massive power and toughness buffs. Secondary win paths leverage sacrificial token outlets like Psychotrope Thallid for card advantage and Deathspore Thallid for creature control before overrunning opponents with Verdeloth the Ancient or a flurry of buyback Sprout Swarm tokens. Through patient spore cultivation and graveyard exile, the deck transforms humble mushrooms into lethal combat threats.
