Suprise by Hylorian

Format: Commander

Commander: Kona, Rescue Beastie

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kona, Rescue Beastie is a mono-green survival-cheat commander. The deck's primary plan is to ramp out Kona by turn three or four, tap it in the second main phase, and put huge permanents onto the battlefield for free. Secondary paths use backup cheat effects such as Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Last March of the Ents, and Smuggler's Surprise, then close with Craterhoof Behemoth or Unnatural Growth. There is no hidden commander or second face; Kona is single-faced and remains the primary engine, though Old Gnawbone and Ghalta act as powerful value backups. The deck is a combat-focused stompy strategy with no infinite combos and no counterspells.
