Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu combat and token strategy commanded by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. Isshin doubles all triggered abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks, supercharging aggressive permanents that create tokens, draw cards, or drain opponents. The deck curve prioritizes early mana fixing and low-cost attackers, transitioning into commander deployment on Turn 3. On Turn 4, engines like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Hero of Bladehold flood the board with attacking tokens. Turn 5 introduces devastating finish multipliers such as Commissar Severina Raine, Brutal Hordechief, and Aurelia, the Law Above, converting attack declarations into massive table-wide life loss. Supported by Grand Abolisher and Myrel, Shield of Argive, the deck shields its combat turns from opposing interaction and looks to deliver a clean finish on Turn 6.
