Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage is the engine of a Grixis discard-control deck that uses forced discards to feed payoffs and fill graveyards, then closes with drain effects and reanimated flyers. The front face is the build-around: it triggers a discard from every player and converts the card types into cards. The back face is a late-game flying draw machine after an 8-mana transform, not the deck's core plan. There is no true hidden commander; the closest secondary build-around is the Bolas planeswalker suite, which provides alternate win conditions. Wins come from repeated Kefka attacks plus Megrim/Liliana's Caress/Monument drain, a critical-mass Windfall/Dark Deal, or reanimating Archon of Cruelty and friends.
