Deck overview

This Boros deck operates as a dedicated miracle spellslinger control engine powered by Lorehold, the Historian. The commander grants every instant and sorcery card in hand miracle {2} and provides a rummage trigger at the start of each opponent's upkeep. By pairing this triggered draw with topdeck-manipulation tools such as Penance, Library of Leng, Scroll Rack, and Sensei's Divining Top, the deck routinely casts game-ending high-mana spells—including Storm Herd, Rise of the Eldrazi, Call Forth the Tempest, and Approach of the Second Sun—for only two mana during opponents' turns. Mana rocks like Victory Chimes and Bender's Waterskin ensure that miracle mana is available on every player's turn. Supported by efficient protection spells and asymmetric sweepers like Single Combat, the deck establishes commanding board states on Turn 5 and closes games across two combat cycles on Turn 7.
