Deck overview

Ragost, Deft Gastronaut leads an artifact-centric burn and synergy deck that converts every artifact into Food and weaponizes them into direct table-wide damage. The primary strategy revolves around granting Ragost lifelink using cheap equipment and auras such as Basilisk Collar, Shadowspear, and Spirit Link. When Ragost activates to sacrifice a Food and deal 3 damage to each opponent, the resulting 9 life gained triggers Ragost's own ability, untapping him at the beginning of each end step. This allows the deck to activate Ragost on every player's turn, dealing 12 damage per turn cycle to the entire table while gaining 36 life. Mana generators like Smothering Tithe and Nuka-Cola Vending Machine maintain a constant flow of artifact fodder and mana. Supported by dense one-mana protection spells and damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, the deck systematically burns out all three opponents by Turn 6 while maintaining an insurmountable life total buffer.
