Deck overview

This Dimir deck uses Lazav, Wearer of Faces as a Clue engine and copy toolbox. Lazav attacks to exile the best creature from any graveyard and makes a Clue, then you sacrifice the Clue to turn Lazav into that creature until end of turn. The deck mills itself and opponents with Armored Skaab, Scarblade Scout, Drowner Initiate and Singularity Rupture to stock graveyards, then copies big threats like Elder Brain and Valgavoth, Terror Eater for value and combat wins. Secondary paths use artifact synergies with Transplant Theorist, Rook Turret and Benthic Criminologists to draw and recur, and a slow Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring mana engine. Valgavoth acts as a hidden commander that exiles mills and lets you cast them.
