Blue Blues by user6724077

Format: Commander

Commander: Namor the Sub-Mariner

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Namor the Sub-Mariner leads a mono-blue Merfolk token swarm. The deck creates 1/1 Merfolk tokens by casting noncreature spells with blue mana symbols. These tokens are then pumped by Lord of Atlantis and Attuma, Atlantean Warlord, and made unblockable via Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive or islandwalk. A dense counterspell suite protects the board and disrupts opponents. Secondary plans include copying key creatures with Helm of the Host or Mirrormind Crown, and using Kang the Conqueror for extra turns. The deck lacks tutors but has solid draw and recursion for instants and sorceries. It is highly interactive but reliant on maintaining a token presence to pressure life totals.
