Deck overview

This Golgari deck utilizes self-mill, graveyard growth, and undercosted high-power creatures to fuel a direct-damage victory via its commander, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Early turns establish mana acceleration through 1-drop mana elves and land search, quickly transitioning into graveyard loading with cards like Buried Alive, Grisly Salvage, and dredge engines. By Turn 5, the deck deploys massive powerhouses such as Lord of Extinction, Yargle and Multani, Daemogoth Titan, or Jumbo Cactuar. The primary win condition bypasses combat entirely: activating Jarad's ability forces each opponent to lose life equal to the sacrificed creature's power simultaneously. Massive card draw from Greater Good and mass reanimation from Living Death provide powerful engine momentum and recovery, while backup trample enablers like Brawn ensure combat remains a lethal secondary angle.
