Deck overview

This Izzet deck is an explosive combo-tempo list helmed by Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The primary strategy leverages Kediss to spread Malcolm's flying combat damage across all three opponents, generating three Treasure tokens on every combat connection. This sudden mana surge allows the deck to assemble compact, game-ending infinite damage loops as early as Turn 4. The main win condition uses Glint-Horn Buccaneer, which repeatedly loots and damages all opponents while generating the exact Treasures needed to sustain its own activation. Redundant secondary win lines turn cheap damage dealers like Reckless Fireweaver or Street Urchin into Pirates using spells like Trickery Charm and Blades of Velis Vel, creating self-fueling burn loops. Efficient 1-mana protection spells and countermagic safeguard the combo pieces, while Underworld Breach provides resilient recovery from the graveyard.
