Deck overview

This mono-black deck, helmed by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, weaponizes life as a resource to accelerate into a dense web of drain-and-gain loops. The primary game plan is to convert life into black mana via K'rrik, cast powerful tutors and draw engines, then assemble a life-gain/life-loss infinite loop - typically Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood - to drain the table. Redundant outlets like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Bloodthirsty Conqueror ensure the combo is highly realizable. The deck also features a deep recursion and reanimation suite (Reanimate, Animate Dead, The Soul Stone, Sheoldred, Whispering One) that recovers from disruption and provides additional value. Secondary win conditions include Torment of Hailfire as a mana sink and Gray Merchant of Asphodel for large devotion-based drain. The deck is a focused, high-tutor-density combo/control build that aims to end the game quickly once the loop is online.
