Lathril by doctorhebert

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Lathril, Blade of the Elves is a Golgari elfball deck built around accelerating into the commander, converting her combat damage into a wall of Elf tokens, and finishing with a single devastating overrun. The primary plan is to assemble enough untapped Elves to activate Lathril repeatedly and drain all opponents; secondary paths are Finale/Craterhoof, Ezuri/Coat of Arms overruns, Exsanguinate, and Bolas's Citadel. The commander is the token engine and win condition, but the cheap Elf dorks and tutors let the deck pivot to beatdown or a Staff/Archdruid combo. There is no hidden commander; Lathril is the focus. Growing Rites of Itlimoc functions as a secondary Gaea's Cradle-style enabler.
