Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Reanimator control deck commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. Its core engine leverages low-cost graveyard tutoring such as Entomb, Unmarked Grave, and Buried Alive to plant format-dominating threats like Archon of Cruelty, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Terror of the Peaks into the graveyard, followed by cheap reanimation via Reanimate, Animate Dead, or Necromancy by Turn 3. Once deployed, these threats generate immediate enters-the-battlefield card advantage, board control, and life swings. Kefka complements this plan by applying symmetric discard pressure upon entering and attacking, drawing multiple cards to break parity wide open while fueling secondary payoffs like Waste Not and Tinybones, Bauble Burglar. Backed by premium interaction, including free spells like Deadly Rollick and cheap countermagic, the deck controls the board until combat damage closes the game or the instant-speed Dualcaster Mage and Saw in Half combo finishes the table.
