Deck overview

Arcades, the Strategist leads a defender tribal deck that turns walls into card draw and attackers. The primary plan is to cast Arcades early, chain cheap walls to refill the hand, and swing with toughness-based damage. High Alert serves as a backup enabler and also unlocks the deck's main combo: Axebane Guardian plus High Alert plus Coral Colony, which produces infinite mana and mills all opponents. Wingmantle Chaplain and The Walls of Ba Sing Se provide alternate threats. The deck is not a fast combo deck; it wins through incremental board development and a critical-mass combat step, with the mill combo as a secondary, tutor-assisted line. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built entirely around Arcades' static abilities.
