Deck overview

Kuja, Genome Sorcerer commands an aggressive Rakdos spellslinger and storm deck that weaponizes noncreature spells into lethal table-wide burn. The primary game plan deploys Kuja and redundant pingers like Firebrand Archer, Coruscation Mage, and Kessig Flamebreather, using Kuja's end-step ability to amass Wizard tokens that scale damage output. As the Wizard count grows, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage to quickly turn low-cost cantrips and rituals into massive bursts of life loss. The deck can also pivot immediately into an unpreventable infinite combat win using Twinflame and Dualcaster Mage. Acceleration from fast rituals like Dark Ritual, Jeska's Will, and Seething Song fuels explosive turns, while Storm-Kiln Artist generates continuous mana refunds. Defensively, the list protects its win attempts with free and low-cost redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend, alongside Hexing Squelcher to shut down opposing countermagic.
