Deck overview

This Dimir deck is built around a playful 'bluffing, guessing, and mini-game' theme led by Atris, Oracle of Half-Truths. It leverages opponent-choice card draw, pile splitting, and guessing cards to accumulate steady card advantage and fill the graveyard. The mid-game focuses on flickering enter-the-battlefield creatures with cards like Ghostly Flicker and Conjurer's Closet while recovering key spells with Archaeomancer and Shipwreck Dowser. The primary win condition transitions into high-end flying Sphinxes, featuring Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign for massive card velocity and Atemsis, All-Seeing or Sphinx Ambassador to pressure opponents. Because the list embraces thematic mini-games like Liar's Pendulum, Pain's Reward, and Measure of Wickedness, it deliberately eschews fast mana and instant-speed countermagic. Instead, it relies on sorcery-speed removal and reanimation to navigate games, resulting in an interactive and narrative-rich multiplayer experience.
