B2 EllieEllie by UmbralKins

Format: Commander

Commander: Ellie, Brick Master and Kardur, Doomscourge

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos goad/attrition deck built around making the table fight itself. Kardur, Doomscourge forces every opposing creature to attack away from you on his ETB, and his death trigger turns each attacking creature into table-wide drain. Ellie, Brick Master then converts each attack on your opponents into a tapped 1/1 Zombie-controlled by the attacker-so the forced combat creates a constant stream of creatures dying, which feeds Blood Artist-style drains, Morbid Opportunist card draw, and token payoffs. The deck also runs a "crime" subtheme with Gisa, the Hellraiser, At Knifepoint, and Forsaken Miner. Its primary win is table-wide damage: grind with death triggers and token swarms, then burst with Devastating Onslaught copying Slash, Reptile Rampager or Redoubled Stormsinger, multiplied by Isengard Unleashed and Dictate of the Twin Gods. There are no infinite combos. Rules note: as printed, Kardur, Doomscourge does not have Partner-Survivors, so this pairing is not legal in sanctioned Commander without a house rule.
