Posty's Elrond by Kairi_92

Format: Commander

Commander: Elrond, Moon-Reader

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Elrond, Moon-Reader is a mono-blue ETB/activated-ability value engine, and this is not a hidden-commander build. The deck develops Islands and cheap mana, plays Elrond early, then repeats enter-the-battlefield triggers with Ghostly Flicker, Displacer Kitten, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, and Conjurer's Closet to draw cards, generate mana, and disrupt opponents. The secondary path is combo-control: Archaeomancer plus Peregrine Drake and High Tide with Ghostly Flicker creates infinite mana; Displacer Kitten with Venser, Shaper Savant or Agent of Treachery converts that mana into a permanent lock. Elrond's own activation draws a card and blinks two permanents, making him both a draw engine and a protection tool.
