Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Landfall Midrange strategy led by Zagorka, Mother of Sanctum. The primary game plan accelerates mana by utilizing low-cost ramp spells and Zagorka's end-step ability, which offers Sanctum land tokens to all players while shielding you from attacks by those who accept. This mana advantage translates into explosive mid-game turns with powerful landfall payoffs such as Rampaging Baloths, Dragonback Assault, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum. While opponents can benefit from extra mana, the deck includes asymmetric punishers like Tunnel Ignus and Confounding Conundrum to disincentivize excessive land growth. The list closes games through wide combat swings with large token armies and extra combat phases. Its main challenges are a vulnerability to creature board wipes and a low density of stack interaction, requiring careful timing when deploying key threats.
