Deck overview

This is a WB "Aura Goad" value-control deck helmed by Killian, Decisive Mentor. The strategy revolves around casting auras to trigger the commander's goad effect, drawing cards whenever an enchanted creature attacks, and building an overwhelming board through enchantment synergies. The deck uses pillowfort pieces (Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety), mass aura recursion (Retether, Mantle of the Ancients, Replenish via Eiganjo Dynastorian), and token generation (Sigil of the Empty Throne, Inkshield) to control the pace. Primary win conditions are combat damage from a heavily enchanted creature, often with Super State to spread 9 damage to each opponent, or Grievous Wound to halve life totals and accelerate kills.
