Deck overview

This deck is a Simic counters-and-tokens midrange strategy commanded by Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres. It focuses on accumulating +1/+1, charge, and experience counters across permanents, turning proliferation triggers into repeated card draw through the commander. The early turns establish mana development via standard land ramp and token engines like Tireless Provisioner and Peregrin Took. By Turn 5, deploying the commander converts every proliferate effect into sustained card advantage. The deck transitions into a game-ending state around Turn 7 by assembling the infinite extra-turn combo of Ezuri, Claw of Progress and Sage of Hours or overwhelming opponents with a massive Craterhoof Behemoth overrun. While resilient to attrition through deep card draw, the list lacks stack interaction and instant-speed counterspells, making it vulnerable to fast combo decks and well-timed opposing board wipes.
