Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact combo strategy commanded by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. It leverages efficient mana rocks, artifact cost reducers, and top-deck casting engines to churn through the library rapidly. The primary game plan seeks to assemble Mystic Forge (or Crystal Skull, Isu Spyglass), a cost reducer such as Etherium Sculptor, and Sensei's Divining Top. This engine draws the entire library, allowing the deck to cast Glaring Fleshraker and deal lethal damage to all opponents through repeated casts. Defensively, the deck is reinforced by elite free countermagic, including Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship, alongside protective creatures like Bronze Guardian and Padeem, Consul of Innovation. If combo lines are stalled, massive threats like Blightsteel Colossus and Kappa Cannoneer provide an alternate combat-focused finish.
