Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is an artifact-land combo/beatdown list built around Toph, the First Metalbender. Its primary plan is to turn nontoken artifacts into lands, then use earthbend to animate them as hasty, growing attackers. The fastest win is the Bumi, Unleashed loop: with Mycosynth Lattice or Liquimetal Torque making Bumi a land, Toph's static ability plus Bumi's own earthbend gives it haste, and combat damage starts infinite extra combat phases with every creature able to attack. Secondary paths use landfall and +1/+1-counter synergies from Mossborn Hydra, Bristly Bill, Toph, Greatest Earthbender, and Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender for a massive trampling double-strike swing. There is no hidden commander; The Legend of Kyoshi // Avatar Kyoshi is a utility card in the 99.
