Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Jeskai aggro strategy commanded by Sonic the Hedgehog. It leverages creatures with flash and haste to establish immediate board presence without giving opponents sorcery-speed windows to respond. When Sonic attacks, it permanently buffs all flash and haste creatures with +1/+1 counters, steadily growing a wide attacking force. Artifacts like Caltrops synergize exceptionally well with Sonic by dealing 1 damage to each attacking creature, which triggers Sonic's second ability to produce tapped Treasure tokens while leaving buffed creatures unharmed. The deck breaks parity on board wipes using asymmetric spells like Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict, which leave its modified creatures untouched while clearing opposing blockers. Supported by flash-based protection such as Guardian of Faith and Spectacular Spider-Man, the deck finishes opponents through combat damage multipliers like Uncivil Unrest, extra combat steps, and Akroma's Will.
