Deck overview

This is a Selesnya token-populate deck that builds a wide board, converts lifegain into cards and more tokens, then finishes with trample and double strike. Trostani, Three Whispers is a cheap commander whose job is not to generate value but to make the right attacker lethal: double strike on Ghalta and Mavren, Sumala Rumblers, or a token horde, vigilance to keep defenders up, and deathtouch to deter attacks. Secondary paths include myriad attacks, populate chains from Growing Ranks and Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage, and lifegain payoffs like Trudge Garden and Valkyrie Harbinger. The hidden commander is Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, whose enter-the-battlefield lifegain and activated populate tie the deck together.
