Deck overview

Kibo is a Gruul artifact-poisoning commander who gives every player Banana artifacts, then turns those Bananas into +1/+1 counters by forcing or mass-destroying artifacts. The deck's primary plan is midrange Ape/Monkey beatdown: stockpile opponent-controlled Bananas with Kibo's activated ability, wipe them with Fade from History or Anzrag's Rampage, then swing with counter-laden trampling Apes. Secondary lines are classic big-mana Gruul threats-Grunn, Kogla and Yidaro-plus card draw from Viridian Revel and Outpost Siege. No hidden commander exists; Kibo is both the mana engine and the counter engine, but the deck can still fight with raw Apes if he is answered.
