Deck overview

This Boros control deck executes a damage reflection and burn combo strategy designed to turn symmetric mass damage spells into immediate table kills. While commander Firesong and Sunspeaker provides enormous lifegain bursts with red sweepers to feed Aetherflux Reservoir, the deck's most compact victory paths operate through damage redirectors such as Brash Taunter, Phyrexian Vindicator, and Boros Reckoner, or the enchantment Repercussion. By pairing these permanents with sweepers like Blasphemous Act or attaching Guilty Conscience to an indestructible redirector, the deck eliminates all three opponents in a single decisive turn. A versatile Sunforger toolbox provides instant-speed tutoring for spot removal, stack redirection, and protection spells like Boros Charm and Teferi's Protection, ensuring the deck survives early aggression and safely resolves its winning damage burst.
