This deck is a Dimir graveyard-spellslinger helmed by Emet-Selch of the Third Seat, which reduces the cost of spells cast from the graveyard by {2} and allows one free re-cast per turn whenever opponents lose life. The core strategy is to fill the graveyard through loot effects (Frantic Search, Otherworldly Gaze, Scion of Halaster) and then chain recursion via the commander, Lier, Disciple of the Drowned, Torrential Gearhulk, and The Dawning Archaic. The deck generates massive mana through Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth + Crypt Ghast to fuel X-spell finishers like Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate. A secondary punisher theme (Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Painful Quandary) pressures opponents while the graveyard engine runs.
