Deck overview

This is a Dimir flash-Faerie control/tempo deck built around Alela, Cunning Conqueror. The core loop is to cast spells on opponents' turns, turning each first spell into a flying Faerie token while Wavebreak Hippocamp, Nymris, Oona's Trickster, and other Faerie payoffs convert those same plays into cards and incremental damage. The commander then goads enemy creatures, forcing attackers away from your small flyer army so it can chip in for lethal. The deck wins through combat: a growing Faerie swarm pumped by Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor, Scion of Oona, and Shadow Puppeteers, with Obyra, Dreaming Duelist providing reach and Reconnaissance Mission / Enduring Curiosity turning every connect into more gas. It is a reactive, stack-heavy deck that out-values opponents through interaction rather than assembling a compact combo.
