Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-black turbo reanimator and storm combo deck built around Griselbrand. The primary game plan accelerates mana rapidly using format-staple mana rocks and rituals such as Jeweled Lotus, Mana Crypt, Dark Ritual, and Culling the Weak to deploy Griselbrand on Turn 2 or 3. Once on the battlefield, Griselbrand's instant-speed ability pays life to draw massive hand sizes of 14 to 28 cards. The deck leverages this sudden card volume through Skirge Familiar to produce massive black mana or Sheoldred, the Apocalypse to gain infinite life while drawing the library. It converts this advantage into a same-turn win using Aetherflux Reservoir to deal 50 damage to each opponent or a massive Torment of Hailfire. Independent backup lines through Bolas's Citadel and Sensei's Divining Top provide alternative storm wins. Unconditional tutors and land-based uncounterable protection ensure resilient execution against opposing disruption.
