Commander: Azlask, the Swelling Scourge

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Eldrazi token-swarm deck helmed by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge, built around generating a critical mass of 0/1 Eldrazi Scion and Spawn tokens, then sacrificing them for mana or using them as chump blockers. The commander's activation - an all-color cost - turns the entire board lethal, granting indestructible and annihilator 1 to all Scions/Spawns while pumping every creature by an amount equal to the experience counters earned through the death of colorless creatures. The deck also hides several high-ceiling value bodies (Ulamog, the Defiler, End-Raze Forerunners) as secondary threat lines. Primary wins are combat-oriented: swing with a pumped, evasive, annihilator horde. Interaction is a mix of targeted instant removal and, uniquely, Culling Ritual which can wipe cheap permanents and pay back the mana spent.
