Deck overview

This deck is an Esper artifact and enchantment synergy deck commanded by Alela, Artful Provocateur. The primary strategy accelerates through efficient 0-to-2 CMC mana rocks to deploy Alela on Turn 4. Once assembled, every artifact and enchantment spell generates a 2/1 flying Faerie token. These tokens power massive card draw through engines like Skullclamp and Bident of Thassa, while asymmetric disruption such as Ethersworn Canonist, Blind Obedience, and Propaganda restrains opposing aggression. The deck establishes a critical flying swarm by Turn 6 and closes out the table through combat by Turn 8. If combat stalls, secondary lines utilize Solemnity with Phyrexian Unlife for damage immunity, or Repay in Kind to reduce opposing life totals to zero. A robust suite of proactive shielding, including Mithril Coat, Conqueror's Flail, and Glen Elendra Archmage, safeguards the commander and key permanents throughout execution.
