Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sheoldred, the Apocalypse leads a mono-black draw-drain control deck. The primary plan is to land Sheoldred, then convert every drawn card into life and, with Starscape Cleric, one damage to each opponent. Necropotence, Ad Nauseam, and Necrologia provide the burst draw to turn this into a kill. A reanimator package around Kokusho, Vilis, and Noxious Gearhulk gives resilient beats and life swings. Syr Konrad plus Mindcrank is an alternate mill-drain combo. There is no hidden commander: both the drain engine and the explosive draw lines revolve around Sheoldred herself. The deck wins through repeated life-loss triggers rather than combat, finishing with a large X draw or an infect clock from Skithiryx.
