Iroh, spells matter by MegaMike

Format: Commander

Commander: Iroh, Grand Lotus

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Built around Iroh, Grand Lotus, this Temur spellslinger deck turns the graveyard into a second hand, flashing back instants and sorceries repeatedly and using Lessons like Improvisation Capstone to cast chains of free spells. The primary finish is an infinite-mana loop with Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Pemmin's Aura, and Badgermole Cub, converted into lethal Earthquake or Disintegrate. Secondary paths lean on Zaffai and the Tempests, Quandrix the Proof, and dragon value to out-grind the table. Iroh both provides the flashback engine and raises Selvala's power for a large X, making him the pivot. Without him, the deck still has enough standalone draw and mana to operate at reduced speed.
