Deck overview

Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER is a Naya Equipment-voltron commander. The deck's primary plan is to assemble a large, hasty Sword (usually Colossus Hammer or Excalibur), attach it to Cloud for free, then attack to draw cards and make Treasures. Commander damage closes games, accelerated by double strike from Reyav or Akroma's Will and extra combats from Genji Glove. Cloud, Midgar Mercenary acts as a hidden lieutenant that fetches Equipment and doubles its triggers, while Ardenn can re-distribute all Equipments at combat. The deck uses a dense tutor package (Steelshaper's Gift, Enlightened Tutor, Stoneforge Mystic, Sunforger) and draw engines (Sram, Puresteel, Esper Sentinel) to find and protect the right pieces. A secondary path uses equipped attackers like Akiri, Fearless Voyager and Amy Rose to grind card advantage.
