Deck overview

This mono-blue combo deck is built around Arni, Humble Scribe, utilizing untap triggers and enter-the-battlefield synergies to churn through the library and assemble infinite mana and card-draw combos. The primary path executes via Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake, which untaps lands repeatedly for infinite mana while continuously triggering Arni to loot through the entire deck. The game concludes on the spot by casting Thassa's Oracle, Laboratory Maniac, or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. Backup plans feature the Painter's Servant and Grindstone pairing to mill opponents out, along with Intruder Alarm and Hullbreaker Horror bounce loops. While the deck boasts high internal synergy with artifact tutoring and untap specialists like Vizier of Tumbling Sands and Kelpie Guide, it features modest reactive interaction and acceleration, meaning it typically seeks to assemble its game-winning engine around Turn 6 with protective equipment in place.
