Commander: Deadpool, Trading Card

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos attrition-control deck built around Deadpool, Trading Card, who acts less as a build-around engine and more as an interchangeable value piece - his modular text-box exchange can steal a useful ability from an opponent's creature or donate a drawback. The deck's real plan is a classic black-red sacrifice/aristocrats grind: generate tokens and sacrificial bodies, convert them into card draw and damage via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mayhem Devil, and Goblin Bombardment, while choking the table with symmetrical discard, land-tax, and untap restriction pieces like Oppression, Zo-Zu the Punisher, Manabarbs, and Smokestack. It closes games through incremental drain loops, the Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Putrid Goblin + sacrifice-outlet infinite combo, or a big Torment of Hailfire (or Kaervek the Merciless / Syr Konrad, the Grim) once the table is ground down.
