Deck overview

This mono-green deck combines a dedicated Turbo-Fog shell with a resilient landfall engine led by Ashaya, Soul of the Wild. The strategy uses dense land acceleration from cards like Exploration, Burgeoning, and Nature's Lore to reach high mana counts rapidly. Rather than racing for fast combo kills, the deck deploys an arsenal of over twenty combat damage prevention spells—including Constant Mists, Spore Frog, and Arachnogenesis—to completely stall opposing combat steps. Behind this fog wall, value engines like Oracle of Mul Daya and Augur of Autumn churn through the library while payoffs like Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer, Rampaging Baloths, and Cultivator Colossus amass a lethal army of creature tokens. Ashaya synergizes by turning all nontoken creatures into Forest lands, providing inherent protection against nonland bounce spells like Cyclonic Rift. The deck reliably wins by overwhelming opponents in two combat rotations around Turn 8 while staying immune to combat damage.
